In my free time, I prototyped a system for monitoring a plant as it grows using Viam. The Raspberry Pi controlled system monitored the plant weight (tracking the water saturation in the soil as well as overall plant mass as it grew), the PH and total disolved solids of the runoff water, and temperature and humidity of the atmosphere. I also logged photos of the plant and created a pump system to remove the collected runoff water once its properties were logged.
At PTC I got to develop robotic digital twins to help demonstrate the way CAD and digital transformation technologies can help companies develop better products. Some examples are below, and here's a Github Pages site I put together with more of that work.
